By the time I read this, Jurgen Klopp had not yet won the most coveted title that Liverpudlians have been longing for the past twenty years nor had they Champions League final been played but his status as a rock and roll manager had been solidified at the legendary club following his arrival in 2015.

This book traces his roots from the Black forest of Glatten, the immense influence of his football mentor Wolfgang Frank to the introduction of his famous gegenpressing at Mainz and Borussia Dortmund long before he arrived in Liverpool. Jurgen is an incredibly charismatic character who lights up every room from the Rhine, Mainz to ZDF TV studios as a 1990 world cup pundit to Liverpool Melwood training complex.

It is an interesting read of an interesting character but a bit of a drag if you are largely uninterested in all the German football anecdotes (which are actually very relevant as the background shapes the Klopp that has become a star in the English Premier League).
