Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky were the first rock stars of Behavourial Economics. This book traces the history of their very special relationship that changed the face of the subject.

They were very different as individuals, but as a pair, their friendship and collaboration were immense and incredibly formidable.

Daniel was a man full of doubt and lacking in belief for his immense talent while Amos was the life of the party and never doubted his immense intellect. They questioned the decision-making processes of humans, embraced and explored the scope of irrationality. How humans viewed alternatives in the face of risk was the foundation of most of their studies.

This is a well-written book based on some immense research by Michael Lewis although I found the backdrop of Isreali wars and military anecdotes a bit tiring. Good read.
